Skin Cell Clinic

Accessibility

Skin Cell Clinic wants everyone to be able to use this website and to visit the clinic with ease. This statement follows the spirit of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA).

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we review the website as we add new pages and features.

What the website offers

  • Keyboard navigation. Every link, button and form can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link at the top of each page.
  • Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, the scrolling animations are turned off and only simple fades remain.
  • Light and dark display. Use the switch in the header to choose a light or dark display; your choice is remembered.
  • Text alternatives. Images that carry information are described in text, and the content of the animated portrait on the home page is also available as text.
  • Readable text and clear forms. Text keeps its layout when enlarged, colours are chosen for contrast, and form fields have labels and clear error messages.
  • English and French. The whole website is available in both languages.

Known limitations

Some content comes from other services, such as Google Maps, Google reviews and the Instagram feed, and may not fully meet these guidelines. If anything on this website is hard to use, please tell us and we will provide the information another way.
